Verksamheten är i en expansiv fas och vi förstärker nu organisationen med en Projektledare. Vad ingår i rollen? Som Projektledare kommer du att ansvara för projekt inom Bactiguard Technology som genomförs i samverkan med ansvariga inom olika avdelningar (Sales & Marketing, Operations, QA). Du kommer att rapportera till chefen för Bactiguard Technology samt ingå i ledningsgruppen för enheten.
[SWE] Bactiguard nominerad till Årets hållbara produkt

Det svenska medicinteknikföretaget Bactiguard är dubbelnominerade i det nyinstiftade priset Industrins Hållbarhetspris som delas ut den 14 oktober. Företaget är nominerade i kategorierna årets Industrihjälte med VD Christian Kinch och Årets hållbara produkt för sitt patenterade ytskikt för infektionskänsliga produkter.

Kampen mot resistenta bakterier kan vinnas men det behövs en enad europeisk strategi och en satsning på innovativ teknik. Det är huvudbudskapet när Christian Kinch och Johanna Adami vid det svenska medicinteknikföretaget Bactiguard deltar i ett seminarium den 7 juli då EU:s hälsoministrar sammanträder i Jönköping.
Ewa Ställdal appointed Senior Advisor at Bactiguard

Bactiguard has appointed Ewa Ställdal as Senior Advisor with start in April
2009. Ewa Ställdal, 59, is the Executive Director of the Swedish Foundation
for Health Care Sciences and Allergy Research (the Vårdal Foundation),
founded by the Swedish Parliament 1994. Ewa Ställdal worked as senior
advisor in matters regarding medical education and research at the Ministry
of Education for eight years 1979-1987. In 1987 she was appointed Director
of the Department of Education and Research at Karolinska Institutet. In
1994 Ewa Ställdal was appointed Executive Director of the Vårdal
Foundation and holds a number of positions on boards and in organisations
within the academic world and the business life.

Yesterday, Bactiguard was presented with the Swecare Export Award by the Minister for Health and Social Affairs, Göran Hägglund. The decisive factor for the jury was Bactiguard's creative development of export opportunities.

Minister for Health and Social Affairs, Göran Hägglund, visits Bactiguard to study solutions for hospital acquired infections

At 10am tomorrow, on Wednesday 1 October, Minister for Health and Social Affairs, Göran Hägglund, is visiting medical technology company Bactiguard's production facility in Småland. Bactiguard's technology contributes towards solving the problem of hospital acquired infections and could save the lives of at least 100 patients a year in Sweden alone and save approximately SEK 290 million in Swedish healthcare through the use of Bactiguard's urinary tract catheter BIP Foley.
Bactiguard reduces hospital acquired infections in Sweden by up to 40 percent

Bactiguard is now starting to supply its own urinary catheter, BIP Foley, to the Swedish healthcare system, with the goal of radically reducing one of medical care's most difficult problems – unnecessary suffering and, in certain cases, premature death due to hospital acquired infections (HAI), also known as nosocomial infections. BIP Foley is a urinary tract catheter equipped with Bactiguard's unique anti-bacterial coating, which reduces HAI by up to 40 percent.
